07 / Ways of Working
Prototyping
Having the agent build a rough version because talking about it has stopped being useful and you need something real to react to. Conversation is low fidelity; artefacts are not.
How you’ll hear it
“We keep debating the layout.”
“Ask it for a rough prototype and react to that.”
Avoid
Long discussions about something nobody has seen.
The longer version
Prototyping means having the agent build a rough version so people can react to something real. It is often faster than describing what you want, and it exposes misunderstandings early.
