07 / Ways of Working
Design concept
The shared picture of what is being built, held between you and the agent. It lives in the conversation rather than in any file, which is precisely why it goes missing.
How you’ll hear it
“It built something different to what we meant.”
“We never wrote the concept down. It only lived in the chat.”
Avoid
Assuming the AI shares your mental picture.
The longer version
The design concept is the shared understanding of what is being built. If it lives only in conversation it drifts and disappears. Write it down so people and agents work from the same picture.
